              as Hillary and Bill did back in the day?  Hillary went on 60 minutes and basically said that she loved Bill despite his foibles.  That was Monica and today it would be, I love Barack so much that I am just overwhelmed by his reaching this level.  I am just so proud that I cannot believe it.  Of course, I meant I have never been so proud of my country but really I am just so proud of my husband.

  intrigued today when the Arch City Chronicle reported that St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay wrote a piece on his blog repeating his endorsement for Hillary Clinton (Obama carried this City 70/30 on Super Tuesday) and then endorsing her for Vice President.

  Since Slay is not known to be stupid I have to think this is part of a campaign to make Hillary the VP.  One of Slay's favorite operatives, Joyce Aboussie, is very close with the Clinton.  Joyce was Gephardt's go-to political operative.  She is very highly skilled and the Clintons trust her implicitly.  I find it hard to believe that Mayor Slay just weighed in on this because he got up this morning and it felt right.  He's a thoughtful and deliberate guy.  So, I think Hillary has made up her mind she wants to be VP.
