Kossacks, I need advice..updated

Hello all,

This is not political or really earthshaking but I cannot think of a better resource to get unbiased opinions on something. I just bought a home and I need to know who you all think is the best homeowners insurance company.

I am buying a house in Phoenix, it was built in 1975, 2 bed, 2 bath one story. Looks like the people living in it kept it in great shape, they have everything under warranty and so all has been kept up, the warranty conveys with the house. The final inspection is Friday.

So folks, who has had great homeowners insurance stories, best rates etc. I have never owned a home before so I need some pointers.

Thanks much,

Chaos

Update: Just got off the phone with Geico, they do not do a package with Auto and Home as they offer home to retain the auto policy holders but they offer "Geico Preferred Rates" quoted me a courtesy quote as I do not know the age of the roof for a policy that is $155,000 for value of house, $108,000 to replace personal stuff and $300,000 personal liability I think for $690 a year through Travelers.

Does that sound decent?
