Hey Bill Burton: McCain is a joke!

I'm pissed right now.
It's bad enough that we have to listen to McCain and his asswipes make up stuff about Obama because the truth doesn't work for them.  
Then I go over to iceberg slim's diary to check out our side's response and this is what I get ...

Response from the Obama Campaign:

   Obama spokesman Bill Burton: "While Barack Obama wants to change American foreign policy to wind down the war in Iraq and address the grave threat posed by a resurgent al Qaeda and Taliban in Afghanistan, John McCain offers this patently misleading negative ad. Given his calls for a civil campaign, it's disappointing that Senator McCain has slipped so easily into the same, tired campaign tactics that have become so familiar to the American people."

C'mon Bill.  We can do better.

Bill, listen up.

Your response is true but that's not enough.
This isn't an argument between people who disagree in good faith.
It's not even an argument.
It's a test.

It's a test of Barack's toughness.
It's a test of Barack's ability to stand strong against assholes and buttwipes and idiots that don't like the United States and intend to hurt us--if they can.

McCain is kicking sand in our face.
That's what it is when they lie and make up stuff without regard for the truth.  They figure they'll win more votes by being strong enough to dis you than by being good, honest, or reasonable.

They're exploiting the old meme that liberals who talk about talking to our enemies and rivals are all talk.  

Bill Burton, it's not enough to be right.
You need to call them on it.

McCain is a joke.  
He doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shiite.
Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic.
His own policies today vs. what he said yesterday.
He's an asshole, picking on kids (Chelsea Clinton)
and telling rape jokes--he thinks Gorillas raping women is funny!
He's corrupt.
Keating five.  His campaign is run by assholes that sell out the public interest because they're getting something from Enrons and Abramoffs of the world.  
He's a cheater.  He betrayed his first wife.  Who is he to talk about honor, loyalty, integrity.

And so on.

Bill, McCain isn't really just making an argument.
He's trying to show that Barack can be played.
So, here's what you do.

Keep on being reasonable, respectful and all.  That's fine.
But before you go on with the long, nuanced, complicated sentences, give us what we need:  the point.

McCain is trying to dupe you when he lies to you.

McCain has trouble keeping his facts straight--maybe because he doesn't really believe half of what he says.

McCain isn't really an expert on foreign policy or defense--although he'd like you to think he is.

McCain is just saying that because ...
